
Cathie has more than 30 years of successful experience in the public relations/public affairs arena, across a broad spectrum of clients and issues.
Ms. Bennett Warner has worked for a U.S. President, numerous Governors and First Ladies, global leaders, Fortune 500 companies, national non-profits, and well-known commercial ventures. Prior to founding her own public relations firm in 2005, Ms. Bennett Warner held management roles in several national public relations firms, including Burson Marsteller, Public Strategies, and Manning, Selvage & Lee.
In 2013, her firm designed and executed a successful media event for the California Plug In Electric Vehicle Collaborative featuring Governor Jerry Brown, former Secretary of State George Shultz, winemaker and electric vehicle proponent Francis Ford Coppola and 40 corporate executives. In 2012, she developed successful media strategy and event creation for two high profile individuals, sustainable design expert and book author William McDonough and social on-line game designer Jane McGonigal and SuperBetter. She has served for the past two years as Media Liaison for a philanthropic foundation providing over $25 million in grants per year, in addition to supporting web development, advertising and event planning services for the organization.
Ms. Bennett Warner was one of the original team members who created the California Governor’s Conference for Women in 1992. She served the conference in various leadership roles for 15 years, watching the event become the largest and most prestigious one-day women’s conference globally, while working for three California Governors and First Ladies in this capacity.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors of both the Marin General Hospital Foundation and the San Domenico School. Cathie holds a BA from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and Public Affairs Roundtable.
